Falvey Memorial Library works in conjunction with other University groups works to provide programming and other initiatives in support of the Villanova University mission. The Library's events and outreach team is instrumental in several major areas:
Academic Integrity Gateway
A Web Site for students created by the Library with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Academic Integrity Gateway provides a virtual resource center to heighten awareness of issues such as documenting sources and University expectations for honesty.

Community BibliographyA multi-year project unveiled March 1, 2008, the Community Bibliography is a database on the World Wide Web that documents and records any residual artifact published by any member of the Villanova University community since its inception in 1842. The Library encourages alumni and staff as well as students and faculty to have their published intellectual work represented in a truly comprehensive institutional bibliography. Displays
Educational and cultural displays are mounted in the dedicated window display space on the first floor of Falvey Memorial Library, and occasionally in other areas of the Library. Displays are often timed to correspond with events on campus or in the Library. Campus groups are invited to apply to mount a display in the Library.

Events
In addition to hosting a variety of University events, the Library co-sponsors several special programs during the school year that often coincide with campus, national and international cultural celebrations and occasions. The Library also promotes both academic and social event programming through sponsorship of a variety of lecture series and annual events, which include, but are not limited to: the Scholarship@Villanova series, the Conscience of the Holocaust lecture, the Pope John Paul II Legacy lecture, the Community Author series, and Gaming nights.

Building Relationships
Contributing to a variety of programs and projects, the Library seeks to increase its involvement and support of campus life. This includes, but is not limited to: One Book Villanova, World Religions Day, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, Health Promotion, the Villanova Literary Festival, Villanova Works, and Falvey Scholars.
