Scholarly Outreach
The Scholarly Outreach Team in Falvey Memorial Library works in conjunction with other University groups and divisions to provide events and other scholarly communication projects in support of the Villanova University mission. Among other responsibilities, the Library's scholarly outreach team handles Events & Displays, Community Bibliography and other projects such as VuStuff and Academic Integrity Gateway
Team Mission
The Outreach Team will be the principal avenue for scholarly outreach and community development, connecting the activities of campus life with the resources and services of the library.
Team Goals
The Outreach Team seeks to foster the library intellectual commons via:
- Supporting our students, faculty, library staff and the greater scholarly community in innovative ways.
- Offering new services and forums for publishing and disseminating new ideas.
- Providing a "third place" for our scholarly community for experiential learning.
Directions to Our Office
Our office is located in Room 235 in Falvey Memorial Library. Once you enter the library, take the front stairwell to the 2nd floor and make a left, walk down the path (you will notice some librarian offices on your left). At the end of the path, you will see a doorway. Go through the doorway and down the small steps. We are the first office on the left.
