Books, journals and media are classified according to the Library Of Congress Classification Scheme.
Patrons have direct access to the Main Stacks for browsing and selecting books.

All journals and newspapers in the Library's collection are arranged by Library of Congress call number, with the current issues shelved on the first floor of the library. Bound volumes are stored in Garey Hall. Articles from those journals can be scanned and sent electronically (Document Delivery) to patrons. Volumes can also be retrieved (Garey Hall Retrieval Request) for those patrons who prefer to use the physical item.

Patrons may search for books, DVDs, and other circulating materials using the Library catalog and retrieve circulating materials from Falvey West stacks on the ground, 1st, and 2nd floors and the Main Stacks on the 3rd and 4th floors or from Popular Reading collection on the 1st floor. Our interactive map will help you located these different areas of the Library. Course Reserve materials are located on the 1st floor and some can also be accessed online.
