Periodical Collection

Our current issues of scholarly journals, popular journals, newspapers, and microform are for on-site use by students, staff, and other library patrons. Current issues are freely available on the first floor shelves. Circulation staff are available to retrieve microfilm for patrons.

Villanova faculty may borrow the above materials and take them out of the library for a period of 3 hours. All other patrons may use these materials on-site only.

There are two options for patrons who need to use bound periodicals from our off-site storage facility.

• Patrons may request digital copies of articles from specific bound periodical titles by using the ILLiad request form. Turnaround time is 48-72 hours.

• Patrons can complete the Garey Hall Retrieval Request form so that specific volumes will be retrieved and delivered to Falvey Library. We ask patrons to limit their requests to 5 volumes per day. Turnaround time is 48-72 hours.
