Reserve staff accepts requests for electronic articles, selected book chapters, and other scanned material submitted by faculty. Students may access readings through Blackboard using the eLearning link on the university’s web site.
Library books, DVDs and VHS tapes from the main collection are eligible for reserve. Faculty may place their own books, desk copies, exams, manuals, films, etc. on reserve as well. The library cannot place books from the reference collection, any special collections, journals (bound or unbound), films from commercial rental entities or materials belonging to other libraries on reserve.
Generally, a loan period of 2 hours in-library-use-only is encouraged on all materials. However, professors may request that materials have 1, 3, or 7 day loans. Films placed on reserve will be given a 3 hour in-library-use-only loan time. Students may request books from staff at the circulation desk and must present their Wildcard.
