Faculty may place physical items on reserve. These items will be available for loan to students, or as partial scans upon their request through ILLiad document delivery. 

Articles, page ranges, or chapters may also be submitted for course reserves. Library staff can also scan pages from library print materials or from faculty copies of textbooks.

Requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days. 

Copyright Notice

The use of electronic reserves material, as with all reserves, is governed by the provisions of fair use of the United States Copyright Act of 1976. Section 107 of the Copyright Act expressly permits the making of multiple copies for classroom use. Based on fair use criteria, library staff will determine if limited portions of an individual work can be scanned or copied for course reserves.
