Please join us on Monday, Sept. 30 in Falvey Memorial Library’s first floor lounge for our annual community reading. This year, we will be reading Homer’s epic poem, The Odyssey. This day-long public reading will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until the book is finished. Students and members of the University community may participate by reading a portion of the text aloud or just stopping in to listen and enjoy refreshments. Join us for this renowned account of adventure, fidelity, friendship and homecoming!
The event is approved for Augustine and Culture Seminar (ACS) co-curricular event credit and is co-sponsored by Falvey Memorial Library, the Classical Studies program, the Office for Mission and Ministry and the Villanova Center for Liberal Education. It is free and open to the public.
