Event Description:

Please join us in Speakers’ Corner of Falvey Memorial Library on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 2:30 p.m. for a talk by Tom Mogan, PhD, director, Office of Student Development and adjunct professor in the Department of History. Drawing on research from his recently completed dissertation, Dr. Mogan will discuss his efforts to uncover the hidden history of desegregation at Villanova University. These efforts resulted in the Black Villanova Oral History Project, which is now a part of Falvey Memorial Library’s Digital Library. This talk will provide a look back at some fascinating events in Villanova’s history while exploring how this research can be used to make Villanova a more welcoming and inclusive community.

The event, sponsored by Falvey Memorial Library, is free and open to the public.
