This event is part of the 3rd Annual Intercultural Communication workshop series. The workshop will be 10 one-hour sessions held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon-1 p.m., July 9-Aug. 8 in room 205 of Falvey Memorial Library. The workshop will be based in Communication and the group will engage in exercises about asking questions and developing good communication skills. Attendees will then take these skills and apply them to communication across cultures/different backgrounds. Past workshops have included dialogues on topics such as: race, class/socioeconomic status, ability, gender and being a supportive ally. If interested in attending, Multicultural Affairs asks that you commit to attending at least 8 sessions. Please BYO Lunch and Multicultural Affairs will provide some snacks. All are welcome, even those who have attended in the past.
