Villanova University will host a week of talks and workshops by Pulitzer Prize winning journalists September 24-27, 2012. Featured will be Eileen Sullivan, Villanova alumnae ’99, who won a Pulitzer this year for her AP investigation of the New York City Police Department’s spying in the Muslim community. Also featured will be the team of Philadelphia Inquirer reporters who won a Pulitzer for their series on violence in Philadelphia public schools. Pulitzer Prize week at Villanova University is sponsored by the Concentration in Writing and Rhetoric, the Waterhouse Family Institute for the Study of Communication and Society, the Department of English, the Department of Communication, the Center for Peace and Justice Education, the Cultural Studies Program, the Department of Education and Counseling, Falvey Memorial Library, and the Writing Center. It is free and open to the public.
