Event Description:

Please join us in Speakers’ Corner of Falvey Memorial Library on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 2:30 p.m. for a 2012 US Presidential Election Series lecture featuring Theodore Arapis, PhD, and John R. Johannes, PhD. Dr. Johannes, professor, Department of Political Science, will present a lecture titled “What the Election Tells Us, and Where Do We Go from Here?” in which he will discuss the election’s consequences and anticipate both its policy and political implications.

Immediately following, Dr. Arapis, assistant professor of Public Administration, Department of Political Science, will be presenting a lecture titled "Common Sense Economics." His talk will review the ways government has used economics to deal with current and past crises as well as his personal view of the economic thinking that will revitalize America's strength.

This event, co-sponsored by Falvey Memorial Library and the Department of Political Science, is free and open to the public.
