Communication

How are you? I am a Communications graduate student studying for my comprehensive exams. I stumbled across the “International Encyclopedia of Communication” while researching more information on a theory that I am studying. Here is the page:

http://www.communicationencyclopedia.com/public/tocnode?query=albert+bandura+social+cognitive+theory&widen=1&result_number=1&from=search&fuzzy=0&type=std&id=g9781405131995_yr2010_chunk_g978140513199524_ss57-1&slop=1#citation

This encyclopedia has information that I think will be invaluable in studying for my comprehensive exams. It puts very dense communication theories into layman’s terms. The problem is, we are only allowed to access a short part of the abstract and need a subscription to access the full article. Does Villanova have a subscription for this? I am extremely eager to access these articles. Thank you so much, I appreciate your help!

Answer

  1. Good news! Falvey does have access to the online version of this book. Here is the catalog record:

    https://library.villanova.edu/Find/Record/957542

Click “Search the online version” under Holdings. It will probably ask you to enter your Villanova username and password.
