ERIC The ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) database is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education to provide extensive access to educational-related literature. It indexes both journal articles and reports from government and private agencies.
Education Full Text More than 400 English-language periodicals and yearbooks published in the U.S. and elsewhere. Subjects include administration, teaching methods and curriculum, literacy, government funding, and more. ERIC, the government education file, can be searched simultaneously by clicking Open Database Selection Area and selecting ERIC.

Books and encyclopedias may not have cutting edge research on educational policies, but they are often the best formats for getting at the long view, historical or incisive analytical perspective on an issue or policy.

RefWorks is a subscription source for exporting citations directly from databases and formatting them.
In Education Full Text look for the Cite icon to cut and paste an APA reference into your document. In ERIC Mark Record, Save, Print Email marked list and use the create button to generate a citation.
Be forwarned that these citation utilities sometimes (or often) introduce errors. You will save typing time using them, but you still need to know the principles of the style and what type of document (book, report, article in newspaper or journal) you are citing.
