Whitepapers

White Papers are reports that aim to solve a problem by arguing for the adoption of a particular solution or policy.  Commercial white papers are above all marketing and sales tools but they also often include valuable primary research and useful facts.  However, they ought to be used judiciously as they are by their very nature partial and biased. 

Identifying white papers can be as simple as reading the front cover or noticing where they are posted.
