Library Introduction

The Library is More Than Just Books!

Falvey Memorial Library offers services your high school library only dreamed of. Here’s just a few of the things you can find at Falvey.

Subject Specialists to get your next paper or project off on the right foot

Falvey is jam packed with research professionals who can help you identify the right places to start your research for your next big project or paper. We can help you find exactly the information you need quickly and without a hassle. We even have tools to make those pesky bibliographies literally write themselves.

Writing help, math help, research help, study help, all in the same place!

The second floor of Falvey is the Learning commons where we have the Writing Center, Math Learning Resources Center (MLRC) , Learning Support Services (LSS), and the research librarians all conveniently located together with casual study spaces. No matter what you are looking for, the Learning Commons can get you pointed in the right direction

Huge first floor lounge area with computers, printers, copiers, and scanners

The first floor of Falvey is one big computer playground. Work, scan, print, or copy on one of our many public PCs. Forget something in your dorm? Borrow laptops, chargers, cables, headphones, e-readers, even graphing calculators and then spread out and get to work in any of our numerous study spaces throughout the building.

Need to meet as a group to get started on that big project? Check out our group study rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors.

Hungry? Thirsty? Need a latte fix? Holy Grounds on the first floor!

No need to be famished with a fully stocked Holy Grounds coffee shop on the first floor. Studying late? We’ve got you covered with the coffee shop open until midnight most weeknights during the semester and when the library closes its doors, the coffee shop area remains open as a 24-hour study space.

Can’t make it in to see us? Not a problem!

Many of the library's resources are available through our website from anywhere in the world and help is available with our Ask A Librarian live chat as well as email reference services. Whether you are on the 4th floor or across the globe we want to answer your questions.

Looking for something to do on Campus?

The library hosts over 250 live events a year as well as changing educational and cutrural displays and exibits so there is always something to see or do at the library. Check out our events page to see what we'll be doing next.
