A variant of the edition with John Marriott's name in full in the imprint of the engraved title page.
"Essayes, the second part" and "Discourses vpon Seneca the tragedian" have separate letterpress title pages; register is continuous. These title pages have imprint "London, printed by Tho. Harper, and are to be sold by Ambrose Ritherdon .. 1631". Variant: title page to part 2 has John Marriott's name rather than Ritherdon's.
