Verse chronicle has separate title page, reading: Here begynneth the cronycle, of all the kyngs, that haue reygned in Englande syth the conquest of Wyllyam Conquerour. And sheweth the daye of theyr coronacion, [and] how many yeres they reygned with the dayes of theyr deth.
Compass has caption title, reading: Hereafter foloweth the compasse and cyrcuet of the worlde, and also the compasse of euery ilande, comprehended in the same.
