The contributors and editors of this volume should be saluted for a work that will be very useful for many years to come. The book's 14 commentaries and 7 essays offer many insights for a diverse range of church members and socially concerned readers. Chapter 10 notes that all people "should be immune from coercion on the part of individuals and social groups" and that people should not be forced to act against their convictions. Chapter 14 likewise notes that "justice in the world" has for its emphasis the right to development and the connection between church, faith, and justice. All academic and general libraries should find a place for this intelligent and useful book on their shelves. ^BSumming Up: Highly recommended. All levels. J. C.
