The dynamic image of the compass, represented in the early electronic newsletter’s title, describes the scope ascribed to all of our publications: news, issues, features and activities here at Falvey, pointing you to the present, past and future with a rich mix of articles on services and resources, technological innovations, cultural and intellectual programming, collections and exhibits, the library staff and the learning experiences of those who use the Library. We hope to inform and entertain as well.
Check the Falvey news blog for updates on what's happening at Falvey. We want to hear your comments and suggestions too.

Compass: New Directions at Falvey, a web-based newsletter distributed via e-mail, was published during the academic year for faculty, administration and staff on the University campus and for alumni, colleagues in the academic community and off-campus readers with a vital interest in Falvey Memorial Library and Villanova University.
Standard columns, such as “Director’s Watch,” featuring commentary from the University librarian, and “Blue Electrode,” highlighting digital library news, were complemented by articles about new resources, events, people news and special topics. The articles can now be found published on the Falvey news blog.
