One Book Villanova Author’s Visit: Book Signing

Thursday, September 22nd, 2016, at 1:30 PM

Speakers' Corner

Event Description:

Villanova University proudly welcomes Elizabeth Kolbert, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History, to campus on Thursday, September 22.  Kolbert’s book was chosen as the University’s One Book Villanova selection for the 2016-2017 academic year. The goal of the One Book Villanova program is to find a common subject that will unite us in good conversation about a culturally rich topic from which we draw great insight.

As part of her visit to campus, Kolbert will be available for a book signing from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Speakers’ Corner of Falvey Memorial Library. Please be sure to bring your copy of the book and meet the author! Complimentary books were be mailed to all incoming freshmen students; however, extra copies of the books are available for $8.00 at Falvey Memorial Library's Access Services desk as well.

See below for the complete schedule of events during the author’s visit to campus.
