  1. I am trying to find any material on the crisis in defined benefit pensions. Looking for anything from 2009-2010 and have only found 2 relative articles. I need to use at minimum 10 sources and only 3 can be on-line sources. So I need a good 7. Got two so net is 5 that I need LOL!! I know I am probably not searching correctly--can anyone provide me with some hints for searching? I did check the Library Catalog that is where the articles came from, but didn't have any scholarly articles listed which I would prefer to use.

For a look at what I think might help you, go to the database ABI-Inform (from the library homepage, click on the "databases A-Z" link in the menu on the left, then click on ABI-Inform, which is the very first database listed), click the advanced tab, type "defined benefit plans" on the first line, and "crisis" on the second line, and click search. If you wish, you can narrow the list you receive to academic journal articles only by clicking on the the "Scholarly Journals" tab directly above the list. Notice that the results are sorted chronologically, so the most recent items are at the top. For further assistance, call 9-4273, or stop by the research support desk on the first floor of the library.
