Encyclopedia articles are great for getting the big picture and pointing to additional sources. Scholarly encyclopedia articles are written by experts and are authoritative.
Books often capture the big picture too. Many of the books in are collection are ebooks. Books don't have to be read cover to cover, often a chapter will suffice.
Links to an encyclopedias, textbook and handbooks (more specialized) are provided. Use the Books and more search to find other books in our collection. Use the Limits to retrieve only ebooks.

Newspapers and magazines will be key sources for current international economic events and developments.
You can search across business news in ABI Inform and Business Source Premier. Use the filters for magazines and newspapers.
Links to well regarded publications such as the NYT, WSJ, FT, Bloombert Business News and Current Affairs are provided.

scholarly articles
Scholarly articles typically tackle narrowly framed research questions. Methods used may be challenging to follow and reading my be slow going, but they can be used to good effect if you can focus on their contribution to understanding the big picture.
