A close look at the results shows that biographies of Picasso are shelved under N6853.P5 on the thrid floor of Falvey. Note that books on Picasso's paintings are shelved under ND553.P5 and books on his sculptures are shelved under NB553.P45. The Library of Congress classification system separates critical works on an artist in those cases where an artist uses different forms of expression.

Notice that records for books with reproductions of the creative work of an artist list the artist as additional author.
