This guide outlines the best databases to start your research for Dr. Yates' "Reason, Faith & Film" class project.
Before delving into these specific databases, try searching the library's main search engine which simultaneously searches our physical catalog of books and multimedia items and over 200+ of our scholarly journal databases. Simply click on the "Search" tab at the top right of any library page or click the big green "Search" button in the middle of our Library homepage.
A search for the title of your movie in quotes (i.e. "No country for Old Men") and words such as faith and/or reason will help narrow your results.
Once you have a page of results, you can narrow your search by clicking on either "Books & more" at the top of the left column or "articles & more" at the top of the right column and then use the limiters that will appear along the right side of the screen. Be sure to check the " " box at the top of the articles result screen: this will limit the results to peer-reviewed scholarly articles only.
