Tutorial for Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research which has holdings that include several time series and other types of aggregate data; its holdings consist mainly of raw data derived from surveys, censuses, and administrative records. The data holdings contain some 6,000 studies and 450,000 files that cover a wide range of social science areas such as population, economics, education, health, social and political behavior, social and political attitudes, history, crime, aging, and substance abuse.

Statistics

Census information about the foreign-born population, which includes anyone who is not a U.S. citizen at birth, including those who have become U.S. citizens through naturalization

Information about state, congressional districts and counties can be found here. Data is a producte of The American Community Survey (ACS), the proposed replacement for the decennial census long form. It asks essentially the same questions as the long form, but the data collection will be spread throughout the decade, rather than at a single point in time, which provides information on a continuous basis.

The MPI Data Hub showcases in-depth and latest data on immigrant trends and patterns in the United States and around the world. The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) is a data gathering, data research and data distribution organization at Syracuse University. The purpose of TRAC is to provide comprehensive information about staffing, spending, and enforcement activities of the federal government.

The Yearbook of Immigration Statistics is a compendium of tables that provides data on foreign nationals who, during a fiscal year, were granted lawful permanent residence (i.e., admitted as immigrants or became legal permanent residents), were admitted into the United States on a temporary basis (e.g., tourists, students, or workers), applied for asylum or refugee status, or were naturalized. The Yearbook also presents data on immigration law enforcement actions, including alien apprehensions, removals, and prosecutions. The Yearbook tables are released as they become available.

Interlibrary loans are only available for books and journals which are not owned by Falvey. The EZBorrow service can be used for books which the library owns, but which are currently checked out. EZBorrow books are provided by a local library network and tend to arrive faster than interlibrary loans.
