Articles & More Search
One of the options in the large search box on the library website is Articles & More, a kind of search engine for research materials including scholarly journals, books and other documents. It is like a mini-Google search retrieving results from many of the library's print, digital and subscribed resources.
The strength of Articles & More is that it allows you to do a quick keyword search across many of our resources at the same time, providing a comprehensive view of all types of information in many different formats (books, journal articles, etc) available on a topic.
Keep in Mind...
- Articles & More searches many, but not all, library resources.
- Detailed searches should be done in subject specific databases
-
The library catalog is indexed separately from Articles & More. Use the Books & Media Tab to search for print books and other physical items that are not included in Articles & More search results.
WorldCat (FirstSearch)
Presents a combined catalog of the catalogs of more than 10,000 libraries worldwide. Can be used to identify which libraries own specific research materials. WorldCat highlights publications available at Villanova University. Other items can be requested via an interlibrary loan request form.
