Fall 2022 DVD/Blu-ray Viewing Pilot Program
In a pilot program this spring, students can request reservations to use the Griffin Room during evenings and weekends to watch films. They’ll be able to check out a portable DVD/Blu-ray player that plugs into the room’s presenter stand. This service is primarily intended to facilitate watching films on reserve, though it’s also available for students to watch other course-related media on disc. To see more details, or to request a reservation, see the reservation request form. Please direct any questions to nicole.daly@villanova.edu
When not in use for these purposes, the classroom is designated as an open study space/computer lab for Villanova University students, faculty, and staff. The room schedule for the week is posted each Monday morning on the bulletin board outside the room.
Access Services staff will monitor the room and may ask anyone using the room inappropriately to leave.
The Griffin Room is monitored by a public safety camera.
Users must leave the room prior to the beginning of a class.
Classes taught by faculty or staff of other departments will not be scheduled in the Griffin Room.
- Faculty or staff seeking academic space should be referred to Room Reservations on the website of the registrar.
- Faculty or staff seeking nonacademic space should be referred to Contact List for Non-Instructional Facilities on the registrar's website.
Users should report technical problems and malfunctions to the Information Desk.
Questions concerning the Griffin Room usage policy should be directed to Ask a Librarian.
